Perfection
Blithely resting its heavy jewel encrusted head, leaning on the Cherry tree, one of my gardens more perfumed roses was too much to pass today. I stopped and, as the saying goes, smelt the roses. Despite the tedious rain my garden is more wonderful than I have ever seen it. Filled with bees and birds (not getting up to any naughtiness thank you!) it is a delight, alive with colour and scents that make your head spin.
It seems of late that I have not had enough time to enjoy it, work and other commitments playing havoc with my horticultural time. There is nothing more wonderful (I say that but my enthusiasm for nearly everything will have me contradicting myself) than seeing things that you had forgotten one had planted peep over abundant planting and shout hallooo! Now that the garden is more established and birds are nipping in and out, I heard a Hedgehog recently snuffling about as well, it feels more.... right.... alive.....part of my home.
Anyway, after admiring nature for all its wonderment it was time to dash to work.
Last day before my holiday........
Bring it!
Hope you all have a good day and enjoy you week while I am having fun in the mountains!
