Still on Candle Power

Nothing more to say really - except this is still a first world problem and I dont really have any cause to moan. But very early on Sunday 1st November, something chewed through some critical bit of underfloor electric cable. Hopefully the helpful chaps from British Gas Homecare are coming to sort it out on Friday. The result is that for 3 weeks we have had 4 working sockets and lighting in 3 rooms. I no longer think (if I ever did) that candle light is romantic. It's not. It's just dark!
