This insect has been living in a glass at our house for a while now. After many weeks it is still alive and we were wondering how that is possible because it cannot leave the glass. Apparently they eat carbohydrates like sugar and starch, and they can live up to 8 years. It is  bit like an experiment to see how long this specimen will survive without having access to food
