La Marseillaise

I'm not a football fan, but even I know that England played France at Wembley tonight, and the words to La Marseillaise were put up on giant screens so that the home crowd could sing along. It makes me proud that a stadium full of English fans could put national rivalry to one side like this, and it makes me smile to think of them trying to wrap their vocal chords around the words – it's not the easiest song to sing!
