Adolescence

The cygnets are now in their awkward adolescent stage. Unfortunately they move very fast and the parents are extremely protective. Needless to say that this made photography difficult and hence the blurred shot. The view from the top of Blackford hill was stunning but somehow this photo of a swan swimming on the newly enlarged pond (before the rain this would have been dry path) seemed more appropriate!
