A Good Read

A highlight of our recent visit to the former prison island of Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay was meeting one the former inmates, Bill Baker, who was autographing copies of his book.

Bill is now in his eighties and enjoying life as a free man after spending most of it behind bars

His story is fascinating, humorous and very easy to read.
A typical line is "I don't regret the experience because I met some really great people there. People who I thought were great anyway. They just liked to rob banks" .
