War Graves

I was out a walk this afternoon and stopped to speak to a guy in the cemetery.  He was cleaning the headstones.

He told me that today he had replaced seven of the War Grave headstones, you can see some of them here. Once they get green or the words are no longer legible they are replaced.   I hadn't realised this was done, how respectful and caring.

In our cemetery we have a few lines of stones, all seem very young, and they are always kept immaculate with nice planting around them.

France has gone to war, oh dear how many more stones will be laid.
