The waterfall at Rydal Hall.

According to the weather forecast there was going to be a window of two hours (midday to 2pm) between bands of rain. I believed it, had an early lunch, checked the rain had stopped and set off to Rydal. Then I watched the dark clouds approaching and knew more rain was on the way. 

Managed some photos between showers ....... fortunately there are a few places to shelter there, the stone building in the photo being one.  I resisted the temptation to go in the coffee shop.
