Missing, one rainbow

All that was needed was a rainbow over this hill - but it didn't come.
Technophobe joined me and the boys on a walk this afternoon. We went  around  quite a bit of the outskirts of the village and saw several quite large trees that had come down in last night's wind. One we had to climb over, (see link to Technophobe's blip) and try to persuade the dogs to jump onto the trunk and then under the branches as it was across a path which is also a green road. 
The light was stunning for a while, but then the heavens opened and we headed back home.
This is the hill to the north of the village, and there are several racing stables up there (plus one Olympic equestrian gold medal winner) - you can see the edge of the rails running alongside the practise jumps in the distance on the hill. 
The cats are away, so tonight the mice are going out to play.
