Third Wednesday walking

Out with my girls today and we took the train into Glasgow and then changed trains for Milngavie.   Had tea and a snack at The Tea Cosy, great value, I had roll and scrambled egg and tea.for  £3.65, beautifully made too.

Then walked around the Milngavie Reservoirs, Craigmaddie and Mugdock, created by the Victorians in 1885 to provide good drinking water for the city of Glasgow.

The forecast was not great, but in the event we had a good day, dull at first, and then a bit of sun later...... and no rain.

Had a quick coffee before catching the train for the return journey.  It was great to be out!!!!
