The one 'for eating'

The forecasters were wrong today. But since that meant two mostly dry walks we will not complain!

A rare coffee out with Mr Cakes which was nice and then an equally rare afternoon coffee with my mum. Very sociable day!

The 'for eating' Christmas cake got iced and the first slice has been eaten. Same gf recipe as last year and the good news is that it got a thumbs up....just as well as I made the 'real' one at the same time!
