Preparations are underway...

Lunch time walk in the balmy weather, +14 today, which is NOT normal. It was lovely! I even managed to buy a few Christmas presents. I came across preparations at city hall, with the crane beside the large Christmas tree on the left side and about 5 workers scurrying around the TORONTO sign which is shown from the reverse side with one of the large letters opened up as they are likely changing the colour of the bulbs inside. There is a nice sculpture in the centre of this photo with Old City Hall in the background. The 3 big arches over the reflecting pool will soon be over frozen water as it becomes a very busy free skating rink in a couple of weeks time. I will take an "after" picture once all the lights and decorations are up. Snuggly night at home getting caught up on laundry and nibbling on sushi, nice ending to a busy workday!
