Dragon fruit

Our neighbor gave us this fruit, which is called dragon fruit, pithaya, or pitahaya, (probably other names depending on where you live). OK, I should have taken the photo right after I cut it instead of beginning to eat it, but I scooped out one spoonful, and it was unexpectedly delicious! I just kept eating, and then thought, "hey, I need to take a photo of this unusual tasty  and colorful fruit!" I can't think of anything to compare it to, but if you ever have the chance to try it - DO!
