What are you guys up to?

There was much activity  on the deck rail again today with blackbirds, sparrows, wax eyes  and starlings all lining up  to have a taste of the apple. Finally the tui arrived and sat on the rail watching. He looked like he just couldn't figure out what the others were up to . Eventually he took over the apple and the smaller birds scattered.

I am going to have to buy more apples tomorrow. Cant believe I am buying fruit just for the birds - I cant eat them myself.
