My best tui yet

This has to be my best tui to date. I have taken hundreds in the last year or so and never been happy with the colour but today I tried again and I'm getting there.
A tui in the shade looks black but a little light shows that the black is actually mostly greens and blues of varying shades.I wondered if this was a young bird changing as the back feathers look scruffy.
I was out in the back garden picking the broad beans when two or three took turns at flying in to feed on the tui tea. Thank goodness I had taken the camera with me.
