winner winner, chicken dinner

well, not so much, but not a night of big losses either.

i thought i could handle the casino tonight, this one just north of topeka. however, i tend to suffer from what i call 'first-night syndrome' where i can't sleep well in the hotel bed on the first night of a business trip. that was last night, and combined with the ultra-early start this morning, the casino was a bit much for me this evening.

played a little video poker at the bar while waiting for a table at the restaurant - minimal losses there. after the meal, i found it difficult to keep eyes open, let alone have a big casino night. so no roulette for me tonight (my favorite) and instead a short drive home to blip, then off to bed.

the excellent side-effect of 'first-night syndrome' is the second night's rest - looking forward to sleeping like a baby!
