Return to nature

Our for a walk at lunchtime, this is the southern end of Shields Road in Glasgow. It got cut off in the 1960s when the council realigned the road to make way for the motorway. It's still got the original cobbles, which are gradually being consumed by nature.

I suppose we humans think we are going to leave a lasting impact on the world, but mother nature will be here longer than we are.
