Let loose

in the garden. 
I took the plunge, braved the dogs and took my camera and macro lens out into the garden. What a mess! The grass hasn't been cut for a month,  there is dog poo all over the place and many plants are suffering from lack of water. 
The rose shrub was looking particularly droopy and as I looked closer, as very often happens, I saw we had a little guest. 

28 days since surgery and Iv'e been practicing unsupported walking today. One leg feels considerably longer than the other and although I know that is probably a postural issue, I took some advice  found on the web and put an insert in my shoe to lift the shorter leg up. With that in place it feels much better and I will keep it so until I see the surgeon in a few days time. If the leg really IS longer, I'l do my nut!
