Can you tell it's raining?

We went to a local nature reserve today to do some bird watching and it rained from beginning to end. The best part of the day was the hot chocolate and ginger biscuits in the café!
On the way home I called into Dunelm to buy some curtains for my newly decorated dining room. They didn't have the ones I had selected online so I went in search of some different ones. I wanted grey or silver. I found a nice grey pair but noticed that they called the colour 'duck egg' which suggests a blue to me. We held them up against other blues and greys and asked several peoples opinion and then decided they were grey.
Now I am home and they are ......blue. Arghhh
