WOW!!

I applied for Olympic tickets... and got not one. I gave up on my dream to be there, just once.

They needed a member of staff to accompany a trip to the Olympics with the students. 6 staff offered- I wasn't the lucky one drawn out of the hat- my dream died again.

I won tickets from Cadbury... but not to the games, just their festival in Hyde Park (which is free anyway!)... for 8 days, I thought I might have won Olympic tickets, but no, I hadn't.

Today, a wonderful friend gave me two tickets. He didn't now the saga I'd been through, but he'd been given six tickets for free, and gave me two of them.

I'm going to the Olympics. I have real life tickets, sitting in my house. WHEEEEEEE!!!
