What a fine fellow!

This impressive ram/tup/tip was taking it easy in Buttermere today. He looks so like a lion partly because of his huge 'mane' but also because of the lack of visable horns. These should curl round and cause no problems but sometimes they grow too close to the head and need to be cut back. You can just see a bit of the horns in the fleece.
