Beeching cuts of 1965.

Miles of track and stations were closed in the Beeching Cuts of 1965.. This included a large amount of track, sidings and stations in Surrey.Today I walked along the old track beds which has now formed part of the Downs Link long distance footpath. The blip for the day shows the track bed running under one of the many brick bridges. I particularly like the woodland track that runs under the bridge.
