Cigs

Dickson Street

623 entries but never before have we ventured into Dickson Street. And a new one (to me), too.

A grand day oot on the bike, trekking from deepest Granton to the bowels of Leith, onwards, onwards, onwards eastwards finally ending up at almost the county line - the last house in Edinburgh before it becomes East Lothian. And then back, through Craigentinny and Upper Leith / Hillside / Canonmills and finally back to the People's Republic of Granton. So plenty of scope for Cigs spotting, eventually I turned up this one just after lunch (courtesy of the Sicillian pastry shop)

As I got the DOF sorted, the light thingy done (I ignored the ever confusing f stop) a wee boy and his mum crashed the shot and he demonstrated a Johann Cruyff move for the benefit of his frankly bemused mum. Although it's probably a Ryan Giggs now. Or a Messi.

White pen with a star on a food recycling bin, Undated.

And in a curious irony, as I was within sight of the Cigs genesis moment, I was informed of the news that the job that fuelled the Cigs revolution may not be around a whole heap longer.

Long enough to finish the project but beyond that? Who knows...
Cigs moves in mysterious ways.

Oh and I nearly forgot the extra. For the benefit of my benefactor. It made me smile..!
