Not the Christmas market

Winchester's Christmas market opened this evening.  Actually, it was open all day, but that didn't count.  I'd been much too busy to go for a walk earlier, so I hopped on the bus with trusty P510 and cheap useless tripod to see what was going on. 

Answer: nothing I really wanted to know about.  The Dean being pompous, the Mayor giving a speech and good old Debbie Thrower (once a local TV newsreader) orchestrating proceedings. 

Excellent!  Couldn't see a thing and wasn't in the mood, so instead you have this double row of lime trees, festively lit.  I thought it looked just weird enough to be interesting.
