The "Dalek" Lamp

As a child, I was always scared of this. It reminded me of the Daleks. It is a Pifco Empire lamp for those interested.  

Dad was always known for being a tease.  He used to switch this on, get the red light flashing and shout "exterminate".  I would scream.  

Interesting how the memories came flooding back when we found it in the attic recently.
