Blowing in the wind....

A wee bit better today, not so wet. Spent most of the day working with cattle. Brought cows and calves into the shed next door. Calves backs clipped, pneumonia vaccine up the nose and pour on wormer along the spine. Then ran the cows through to clip their freeze branded numbers on their hips so they were easier to read.
The new AA bull managed to snap off a water fitting in his shed yesterday and flood the place a bit. Today,he is off to an outside pen with 8 bulling heifers. After touching it with his brass ring he now knows what the electric fence is too, so that should keep him in place.
This Coverall shed was put up as a quick fix in 2010 after our lambing shed fell down with the snow.  However the plastic cover hasn't lasted anything like the 15-20 years the manufacturers claimed at the time, and they are refusing to stand by it as it is " storm damage". Of course it is storm damage, that is the whole point,it split in the wind. Grrr.
