Innovation and a new feeder

A few days ago John made a bird feeder using rainwater pipe, a jamjar stuffed with fat balls and bag ties. I think he came across something similar and thought it worth making one before splashing out. To say the birds were not impressed is an understatement but today I spotted a coal tit looking and pecking, in no time they were queuing up. You can see where J tried to encourage them by placing the peanut feeder nearby. We will see but all credit to those tiny coaltits for giving it a go.
