Coniston

A marvellous day out with Andrew and his best friend John. The rain stopped for us, and we hiked up the Old Man of Coniston. The lads did some scrambling, Pepper and I plodded up the path. When we reached the top, the sun was shining on the lake. However the storm force wind was absolutely freezing! Fortunately the lads appeared over the top and we descended rapidly to the shelter of the car and tea and Madeira cake at home.
