Cumulus with Pileus
I've been surprised at how few weather photographs I've uploaded, considering my interest in the weather. Today Alan spotted this super example of a cumulus cloud with pileus. That mean a cloud with a hat or scarf on top. These often only last for a very short while. They can be an indicator of rainy weather approaching, and this one was.
For evidence of my interest have a look at the Weather for Schools website that my husband and I have produced. We aim to help anybody set up a weather station and monitor the weather.
