Double sunrise!

Glorious start to the day!  I don't think I've ever seen a sunrise quite like this before - amazing colours and shape in the sky.  As I watched the middle portion turned a beautiful shade of turquoise.  By that time I was getting chilly, Ollie had emptied his bladder, so we headed back inside!

The temperature never got much above 4 deg C all day so I decided to spend most of the time baking.   Made Far Breton, a rich eggy custard with raisins soaked in brandy!  Rather dense and solid, but perfect for this sort of weather, especially for postmen!
