Blackbird Eggs

This was such a promising sight in a thick, prickly rosebush. I couldn’t see into the nest, but I could slip my iPhone in to get a shot. Since this is a backblip I have to report that after the hen had been sitting for just a few days the nest was robbed and destroyed. I suspect the magpies.
