In Manchester airport travel lodge in that limbo that's neither home nor holiday. I'm drinking Stella in a bar in a nondescript waiting room with rooms. It's a bit like Couplands Player One without the intrigue or apocalypse.

I'll be sipping holiday lager in the heat tomorrow.
