RANT ALERT
eBay is pissing me right off at the moment. Stuff either comes that's broken, faulty or just plain crap and it's not due to buying cheap stuff.
My main issue though is that I always refine my searches to UK sellers only and this is turning out not to be the case.
Fair enough, most stuff is manufactured in China, but I want to buy from the UK, which seems to be too much to ask.
The peacock feathers I was originally going to order said to ask for a quote for postage before purchase; this turned out to be someone from Shenzhen who then insisted they had a uk address, but yet couldn't give me a quote for postage as my zip code was invalid! I gave up with them and found someone else, actually in this country.
Then today, this happened. What I ordered was a set of 6 table decorations for Christmas (left photo). What I got was a cross stitch sampler!!! WTF?!!!!!
There was no invoice or paperwork in the package so it was real detective work trying to figure out where the hell it came from.
I've contacted them and they've agreed to refund me my money but had the cheek to ask me to post the cross stitch back to them, I'm assuming at my cost as they've not provided any means of return.
Again, the details for the seller is at an address in China, although the return address is somewhere in Manchester. I've said if they send me a pre paid label, I will return it, otherwise they can sod off!
