Bridge of Partakoski

Finally free Saturday to do whatever I like to:) I drove to Savitaipale, where is this beautiful old bridge of Partakoski. It has been built in early 1900 century. This shallow race never get frozen totally and is very beautiful on winter as well, when crystal clear ice frames the banks of the race.

On the way I also stopped to pick up one geocache and take few early winter photos at Kärnäkoski, where is an old saw mill and fortress built in 1800 century. In the extra image you can see the river scene. Mill and fortress were behind my back.
