Bought these today.
Don't ask me why, I have no kids!
The only explanation I can offer is they looked cute and were half price in W.H Smiths this morning.

Perhaps with all the bad stuff going on in the world I can feel safe with Princess Peppa and Super-Hero George protecting me from the bad guys :-)
