Double Anniversary

At the Marquis of Granby, off Smith Square. The double anniversary involved is partly to do with blipping away for five years, but more wonderfully, still being in touch with C and R. We three, and three others, were the Trainee Intake to the Ministry of Defence Civilian Management Specialist branch 4 (d) (2), aka the British Forces Broadcasting Service, on 1 Dec 1975. We still seem able to string some words together, even if we bored poor E, R's daughter, through three rounds of "I wonder what happened to him", and "Do you remember when ... "

King's Buildings, our sometime studios and Head Office,  is round the corner in Dean Stanley Street. Transport House has long since stopped being the Labour Party HQ, and what was once Conservative Central Office on the other side of the square is now the London branch of the European Commission, which doubtless irritates Lord Tebbit.
