Going up the mountain

This morning was dry so we decided to give the Cairngorm Mountain Railway a go. Quite impressive, though some snow would have been good! 

Not sure if I approve of putting a funicular up here, but at least they've made it impossible for the hordes of tourists, including ourselves, to wander about on the mountain - we're kept in the top station and viewing area. It was a good ride though, taking some 8 or 9 minutes.

This party of people sitting opposite us are either bored out of their brains or completely puzzled!
