Today we toured the 16th century Castillo San Cristobal.
Fortifications Built by the Spanish following enemy attack from English Armada led by Sir Francis Drake in 1595 and secondly by Sir George Clifford in 1598, then a Dutch attack in 1625.
Following the Spanish American war in 1898 Puerto Rico became US territory.
