Gale???

While seemingly the rest of the country was experiencing rather a lot of wind, this was the view across Lyme Bay from Beer Head. A bit disappointing as I had taken a detour by the coast to see the sea having a hissy-fit and be thankful that I was on dry land. It was however like a mill pond with a surface all smooth and nary a wave breaking on the shore. I'll bet the Atlantic was flinging itself all over the North Devon coast but here in East Devon the Channel was benign. Wind was cold although.
