Sunset over winter Staithes

A day that could have seen many blips including the mighty Bam Bam singing 'keep on rocking in the free world' with the outstanding Welfare Mothers @ the Captain Cook Inn. I've plumped for this however because it reminds me of an artists work I admire. He's called Mark Sofilas & I can see his strokes in this heavily worked photo. The sun was alive in the the night sky as Staithes began to snuggle down for the night. It was quite something to behold.
