Golden Grains

This local barley crop is turning from greens to golds at a remarkable rate over the last week.  The patterns from spraying show out even more now.
I took this just now as the sun was almost setting, making the golds almost unbelievable.  So much so that I had to tone the colours down to make them realistic.

Made a start on my Book Club book this afternoon. "Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal? Jeanette Winterson.

This morning I was forced to do some housework, now feeling virtuous!!

Another weekend done and dusted, the weeks are cranking along.
