ATHENS TOUR

After a fairly early start and breakfast we got the train into Athens. We started the tour (picture on right) by climbing to the top of Lycabettus Hill; which gives the amazing views of Athens.
We then stopped to see the changing of the guards and to have a drink in Sintagma Square......no signs of rioters or protesters.

Then meet up with my special Greek friend-Gina, who I haven't seen for 2 years. She took us to a fantastic restaurant with really delicious food. We continued our tour stopping for a cool down drinks break!!! It was seriously hot!!!

We got the tram back with enough time to end the day with a sunset picnic on the beach. The only casualty was a broken bottle of wine!!!! Pretty serious!!!
