Holly

A lovely cold clear day  though apparently it will be back to rain and wind tomorrow, just as I am due to be on Mull for a surgery.

The holly tree at the back of the house is laden with berries - probably the best crop I have seen in all our years here.  The birds will be at them now though so how many boughs with berries we get to decorate the house at Christmas depends on their hunger over the next few weeks. 

I have blipped this tree several times , I recall , including last year .
