Some Bright Graffiti

5.5C bright and sunny all day long. Light breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning at Sainsburys and in M&S at City Quay/Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee then we drove the short distance along to the former Jute Mill belonging to William Halley & Son Ltd to have another look at the buildings there for something interesting for Derelict Sunday. We parked nearby and took Maeve the Deerhound for a wander along the pavement outside of the perimeter. The bright sunlight allowed us to see inside the building today and some bright graffiti on the inside walls highlighted in the shaded openings of the broken windows caught my attention.

Derelict Sunday cohosted by sdg92 and Maisiebeth currently :-)

Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve for a walk. We decided Maeve didn't need her coat today. She is definitely looking better and was brighter and more active when we were walking. We went up to the church and carried on out the road towards Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track wasn't frozen today so we were back to dodging the muddy puddles. We came back along the cycle path and turned up the road to the shore to get home rather than go on the more usual longer loop up the main road.

Later there was more work on the current art project. Apothecary7 has reached the varnishing stage for one of her pieces. I started the initial painting of mine. More layers are required, then some designs will be added ...
