Away Day

Sent Saturday on a workshop run by one of the leading stamp designers. Went along with my friend S.  It would have been a really early start to get to the venue for nine am, so we decided to go on Friday and stay over night.  The workshop was amazing, learnt some new techniques for doing backgrounds and 3D flowers.  There was so much to do and learn that we only completed one project, but brought home a bag of elements that we had done with a view to combining then in projects at home.  It was lovely to spend time with S, as we tend to be ships that pass in the night, keeping in contact through email and phone.  We were able to discuss ideas and plans for our own workshops in the new year.  The extra shows the bear that visited us at the workshop.
