Brunstane Castle

Well the remains of it anyway.

Who knew that there was a ruined castle between Nine Mile Burn and Penicuik - guess that's what happens when you go cross country.

A beautiful day, still some snow left but not much as the temperature got back above freezing.

The chickens ventured back in to the garden but they're looking very shabby mid-molt
