Catching the bus

We went into to Stratford upon Avon late this afternoon for some long exposure practice. My first attempt was in the market stalls on Waterside but the results there were disappointing so we continued to Bridge Street.

At the bottom of the street the buses pull in to wait as it is a terminus, I thought that as it was Sunday and the buses had probably finished I would set my tripod on the bus stand. The shot was composed and a 30 second exposure seemed to be appropriate, well about 25 seconds into the exposure along comes a bus.

Lucky wasn't I.
