Berries and Leaves

Not much time for a lunchtime walk, apart from a trip to the the local retail centre to get some batteries for the smoke alarms. They must be nearing replacement as I got woken up at 4am but the Carbon Monoxide detector beeping because it required new batteries. I am sure the manufacturers do there very best to ensure batteries always expire in the dead of night. Getting back to sleep was a pain.

Only these berries set against the leaves caught my eye.
