Moving On

After more than 20 years, our local vicar is moving on to pastures new.  We have been friends throughout that time:  his children are virtually the same age as ours, and we have shared many meals (and bottles of wine) together.

This afternoon there was a special "Songs of Praise" service, followed by a farewell afternoon tea which was very well supported.  I took the opportunity to photograph him and his family (including future daughter-in-law on the left) in the church which he is leaving.
