Kayaking and a hospital visit

I woke up early and headed down to the boatshed to help out with a group who wanted to kayak around east sands as part of a day of challenges. Conditions weren't great, but no one swam, and the paddle was finished very quickly! 

I then went home and had a quick shower before getting a bus and a taxi to Dundee hospital. I was back again for more tests on my stomach - I FINALLY got to see a consultant! He seemed to know what he was on about and asked lots of questions. He also didn't seem to be in a rush to get me out of the room like so often seems to be the case. I was then sent to give four vials of blood for tests before being sent home. The new idea is Crohn's disease so I have been booked in for an MRI scan which will hopefully happen soon!

I then managed to get a bit of shopping in before heading home and relaxing for the evening :)
